We hope you’re staying well during these strange ‘COVID19’ days. It has undoubtedly been a challenging time and AELA has been busy adapting to the changes brought about by social distancing and home isolation.
It is with optimism that we have decided to continue as planned with AELA’s 2020 Earth Arts Program – “Voices of Nature” – because we believe optimism and a celebration of the living world is needed now more than ever.

It has been an exciting and eventful year for AELA with our Earth Arts program taking centre stage during the 2018 Rights of Nature Australia “RONA18” week, from October 23 – 28, in Brisbane.
In June 2018, members of AELA’s Earth Arts Collective, together with other
artists and creatives, gathered at Chenrezig Buddhist Retreat on the Sunshine
Coast hinterland for a three-day retreat. The Earth Arts Retreat provided
participants with a masterclass about Earth jurisprudence, coordinated and
presented by AELA Co-Founder and National Convenor, Dr Michelle Maloney.
Date: 15-18 June 2018.
Location: Chenrezig Buddhist Institute, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
